About

I began woodworking in middle school and rekindled my passion during the pandemic at the Chicago Industrial Arts and Design Center, where I focused on both wood and metalwork. Since then, I've been creating cutting boards, serving boards, and chess boards. My formal training includes studying metal sculpture with David Lobdell at New Mexico Highlands University, woodworking with Michael O’Malley at Pomona College, and additional coursework in woodworking at Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA. I’ve also worked in professional woodshops, fabricating fine art displays and custom stretcher bars. Most recently, I worked freelance doing set carpentry for feature films and commercials.
